Lone Soul

Tears flow from his eyes as he tries to make himself as small as possible. The room is lit by a bright spotlight that casts dark shadows, while overcast light enters through the white-framed window. The well-lit room seems almost welcoming compared to the cold, windy weather outside. But in truth, the darkness inside, born from the intense emotions the man is forced to endure, envelops the room with sadness.
The outside world remains untouched by the tragedy unfolding within these walls. People go on with their lives, unaware, going about their daily routines. They don't see, they don't know. And so, life continues as usual for them. But the man, alone inside, feels isolated and stranded on an island of misery. He can't help himself; he wants to disappear, to cease to exist. The burden he carries is too heavy, too overwhelming to bear any longer. It feels like the end. Consumed by intense suffering, he has nothing left but tears, hiding himself from the world. His shame is a weight he cannot escape. Fallen victim to his feelings, he doesn't know how to move forward with life.
Despite the isolation, a faint hope lingers within him—that someone will come, that someone will see and care for him. He wishes for a hand to reach out, offering comfort, telling him everything will be okay. But deep down, he knows no one will come, because no one knows. He is alone, hopeless, lost, and falling apart. He continues crying, endlessly, as though there is no end in sight.
In the distance, a small wooden house with a bright yellow light shining through one window offers a comforting sight to those passing by. To them, it’s a beacon of warmth. But in reality, it is a lighthouse, silently calling for help. Its light shines into the world, unanswered.
